Red Spatula


I’ll confess: I’m a sucker for red kitchen appliances and utensils. So when I saw GIR’s red spatula, I loved it merely for its color and sleek design, in short, its good looks. When I took it home and made date nut bread, ricotta pie, roasted cauliflower and pasta sauce, I discovered its beauty to have depth: it felt good in my hand, withstood the high heat of my cooking really well, was flexible but not wobbly, and was super easy to clean (silicone spatulas often have wooden or metal handles that trap food). Aside from red, it comes in just about every color you can imagine.
