National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day
Here at ChopChop, we celebrate healthy and delicious food everyday. We love when there’s even more reason to celebrate, with a wacky, fun food holiday. April has many food holidays and ChopChop will be celebrating all month long. We’ll be giving you ideas on ways to celebrate with us and of course, some recipes to try with your family!
In our 5th Birthday interview, Mrs. Obama told us that she ate a lot of peanut butter and jelly as a kid. We’re not sure if she knows, but April 2 is National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day. Since you probably already know how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, we have a new twist on the favorite sandwich for you to try. This Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie is a drink-able, blend-able version of the classic.
PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY SMOOTHIE
There’s no real jelly in this smoothie—but when you blend fresh berries and peanut butter together, it tastes a lot like that favorite sandwich classic! Plus, you’ll be filling your glass with protein, which fills you with energy.
