Cooking from the Kids’ Share, Week 4: Instagram-Worthy

The forth week of the Kids’ Share was filled with an abundance of colorful Fall fruits and vegetables from Siena Farms! This is our third week cooking with the Kids’ Share, a weekly farm share from Siena Farms in collaboration with ChopChop that brings kids their very own fresh produce, recipes, and other surprises.

This week’s share contained: Yukon gold potatoes, Swiss chard, colorful bell peppers, jalapeño peppers, onion, scallions, oregano, apples, and the Fall issue of ChopChop Magazine! Our favorite thing from this week’s share? “The apples were absolutely delicious.  They were super crisp and sweet!  It was the perfect for Fall,” said Abby, a member of the ChopChop team.  Check out what she made:

Baked Vegetable Frittata (using Yukon Gold Potatoes, Swiss chard, colorful bell peppers, jalapeño peppers, onion, scallions)
Easy (as) Apple Pie (using apples)
