ChopChop Headquarters Update: Breaking Ground!
After months of fundraising and planning, we have officially broke ground on the ChopChop Test Kitchen! It’s only the beginning, but we’re off to a great start, including bench construction and kitchen framework being set. We will be periodically posting updates in the upcoming weeks—check it out:
We could not have done this project with out the backing from our many donors. With their continued support, we will be able to turn this raw space into our very own Test Kitchen, where we will teach kids’ cooking classes, test recipes for our award-winning magazine, conduct cooking and healthy eating workshops, and strengthen our community. Thank you to Stephen Brockman and Stephen Lam, our fearless designers from Deborah Berke Partners, based in New York City. Additionally, we’d like to thank Signature Flooring (flooring), Porcelanosa (cabinetry), Cosentino (high value surfaces), Bosch (appliances), AccuServe (decorative lighting), and Nemo Tile (ceramic tile) for donating materials.
We are a small non-profit with a huge mission, and we would love your continuous support. When you donate, you help get ChopChop to those who need it most.
