Watermelon “Sandwich”

Not all sandwiches have bread. This refreshing summer treat is great for snacking after a long day of playing outside.

Measuring spoons


4 unit thin slices of watermelon, rind removed
4 tablespoon crumbled goat or feta cheese or Greek yogurt (regular yogurt isn't thick enough)


Wash your hands with soap and water, then gather all your kitchen gear and ingredients and put them on a clean counter.

  1. Put 2 of the watermelon slices on the plate.
  2. Top each slice with 2 tablespoons of the cheese, then top with a watermelon slice.
  3. Repeat and serve right away.
