Tropical fruits have such deliciously complex flavors—a mix of sweet and creamy and tangy—that they really don’t need any other ingredients to make them shine. But stirring a little shredded coconut into this salad is a nice way to amp up the tropical vibe.

- Large bowl

Ingredients
- 4 cups bite-size fresh tropical fruit pieces, peel and pit the fruit if needed Try mangos, papayas, pineapple, bananas, kiwis, or a combination
- 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
Instructions
- Put all the fruit and the coconut, if using, in the bowl and stir gently. Serve right away.
