Mango Lassi

This sweet-tart treat from India and Pakistan is the perfect way to cool off in the summer heat.

Blender or food processor
Measuring cup
Measuring spoons


1⁄2 cup mango puree or chopped fresh or frozen mango
1⁄2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
1 cup cold water
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice


Wash your hands with soap and water, then gather all your kitchen gear and ingredients and put them on a clean counter.

  1. Put all the ingredients into the blender or food processor. Put the top on tightly.
  2. Turn the blender or processor to medium and blend or process until the mixture is smooth and frothy.
  3. Remove the top of the blender or food processor and pour the ingredients.
  4. Serve right away.
