Juicy Pear Smoothie
Two fall favorites — apples and pears — come together in a yummy yogurt shake that’s a perfect thermos-filler for busy mornings.
Sharp knife (adult needed)
Citrus zester or grater
Blender (adult needed)
Wash your hands with soap and water, then gather all your equipment and ingredients and put them on a counter.
- Put all the ingredients in the blender.
- Put the top on tightly. Turn the blender to a medium setting and blend until the ice is chopped and the mixture is smooth, 30-60 seconds.
- Divide the smoothie equally between 2 glasses and serve right away or store in a thermos or covered in the refrigerator, up to 4 hours.
Instead of the lemon zest, add 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger.
