Garlicky Herb Dip
This dip might remind you a little of the best version of ranch dressing. Feel free to add more or less of the herbs to suit your own tastes — or to add fresh ones, if you have any on hand.

- Cutting board
- Sharp knife (adult needed)
- Measuring cup
- Measuring spoons
- Small bowl
- Spoon, for mixing
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1⁄2 cup finely chopped fresh Italian flat leaf parsley leaves
- 2 garlic cloves, minced or put through a garlic press
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients in the bowl and mix well. Taste the dip. Does it need more herbs or pepper or a pinch of salt? If so, then add it, and taste again.
- Serve right away, or cover and refrigerate up to 2 days.
