Caramelized Onion Dip
This is the classic creamy-sweet crowd-pleaser, and everybody loves it like crazy! Serve it with crostini or pita chips and plenty of raw vegetables, such as carrot and celery sticks and bell peppers.
Sharp knife (adult needed)
Spoon, for mixing
Wash your hands with soap and water, then gather all your equipment and ingredients and put them on a counter.
- Put everything, except the scallion, in the bowl and mix well. Taste the dip. Does it need more pepper? A pinch of salt? If so, then add it, and taste again.
- Garnish with the scallion and serve right away, or cover and refrigerate up to 2 days.
