Banana Milk

You’ve probably tasted chocolate milk before, and maybe even strawberry milk, too. But banana milk? We bet that’s a new one for you! It’s cool, refreshing, just a little bit sweet, and a bit thicker than regular milk. Give it a try. We hope you’ll love it as much as we do!

Cutting board
Sharp knife (adult needed)
Blender (adult needed)
Measuring cup
Measuring spoons
2 drinking glasses 


1 cup milk
1 banana, sliced and (if you planned ahead) frozen
1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Wash your hands with soap and water, then gather all your equipment and ingredients and put them on a counter.

  1. Put all the ingredients in the blender.
  2. Put the top on tightly. Turn the blender to medium and blend until the mixture is smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. Divide the mixture between the 2 glasses and serve right away or store in a thermos or covered in the refrigerator, up to 4 hours. 


Add any of the following:

  • 2 tablespoons crushed nuts
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter
  • 1 date, pitted
  • Pinch of ground
  • cinnamon or nutmeg
