ChopChop Family is the non-profit publisher of Benjamin, The Smart Money Magazine for Kids and their Families.

Benjamin is published quarterly and filled with playful, educational, and engaging articles. We cover familiar subjects (life skills, geography, math) in new ways, as well as introducing less traditional subjects (shopping skills, philanthropy, and equity, among others) that kids don’t yet know they are interested in.  Benjamin’s vision is to help raise children who thrive financially, by teaching them about the world of money, and in particular, the value of saving and growing money, and the importance
of math skills in doing this.

Our model is community based (not ad based) as we look for underwriters and funding to support free distribution to children, especially low-income families. As a community program, we are happy to brand Benjamin with your logo on the front cover, and messaging, or funders, on our back cover, for distribution to the communities you serve. As a non-profit, you will find Benjamin a reasonably priced, periodical, turnkey option to bring financial literacy content to children and their families.

ChopChop Family’s mission is to enrich the lives of families by inspiring them to learn fundamental skills for a full life, most importantly both food and financial literacy. We believe that if children learn healthy habits when they are young, they will build and maintain healthy lifestyles into their teenage and adult years.
