Edible Gifts: Breads

One of the great things about edible gifts is that you bring them wrapped up beautifully to a holiday party. These three breads, Pumpkin Loaf with Raisins and Dried Cherries, Cranberry Orange Walnut Bread, and Black Cocoa Banana Mini Breads look really fancy, but are easy to make. They also make great gifts for teachers, tutors, coaches, mail carriers, and everyone else on your list. Click through for the full recipes.

1. Cranberry Orange Walnut Bread

This festive loaf makes a perfect gift for a teacher or neighbor, or just the right take-along for a potluck. Wrap it in a brand-new dish towel, in clear cellophane and ribbon, or in butcher paper with white string. It will be delicious no matter what.

2. Black Cocoa Banana Mini Breads

We bet a a lot of the people on your gift list love chocolate. These mini breads pack in great chocolately taste and are made sweeter by over-ripe bananas.

3. Pumpkin Loaf with Raisins and Dried Cherries

Pumpkins may be most assocatied with fall, but we think they make a great holiday-time bread too.
